Regularly most people constantly think about the mistakes they have made in the past and worry about where they are going in the future. Whilst it is understandable that we should always be analysing our lives so we can make relevant changes,it is also important to make sure we are not too focused on the past and the future as it will mean we are affecting our decision-making process in the present. The practice and incorporation of living in the present moment has a domino effect on both our past and future. If we take the time to think in our surroundings and make the right decisions during the present, then less mistakes or errors will be made,therefore changing our future,meaning the past will be more positive after all.

If you choose to live in the moment,you will be happier,calmer,more relaxed and more appreciative. You will be able to increase your ability to be in tune with your thoughts,emotions,and body sensations. Increasing these attributes of your character will allow you to communicate with others more effectively as well as help you understand how to approach different aspects of your life. It may sound simple but living in the present can be a daunting prospect when you actually sit down and try and achieve this goal. Each individual had their own time frame it takes in order to get to a stage where they are able to accept the past,ignore the future and embrace the present.

To live in the present is,effectively, to disengage your mind and think about everything that surrounds you so you can truly experience that moment you are living at the time. By concentrating solely on this feeling you are experiencing in the present, you will see a difference in how you approach acting in response to given situations and it will help you to be able to cope with stress.
